Welcome to Santai Retreats. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking or participating in any retreat.
1. Company Overview
Santai Retreats (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides exclusive surf and adventure retreats around the world. These terms apply to all users of our website and all participants of our retreats.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. By using our website or attending a retreat, you confirm that:
You are of legal age
You have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement
You will comply with these terms and all applicable laws
3. Booking and Payment
A deposit or full payment is required to secure your spot on a retreat.
Full payment is usually due 90 days before the retreat start date.
Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change.
Your booking is confirmed only when payment is received and a confirmation email is issued.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
In order to confirm a booking, all participants must pay a non-refundable 50% deposit.
If you cancel:
More than 90 days before the retreat: you can transfer your payment (minus deposit) to a credit towards a future retreat within the year
Less than 90 days: No refund or transfer of credit will be granted
If we cancel:
You will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future retreat
We are not responsible for expenses like airfare or insurance
We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation and medical emergencies.
5. Travel & Insurance
Participants are responsible for:
Their own travel arrangements to and from the retreat location
Holding valid travel documents (passport, visa, etc.)
Obtaining comprehensive travel and medical insurance, including coverage for activities such as surfing, hiking, or other adventure sports
6. Health & Safety
You confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the retreat activities. You agree to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements before the retreat begins.
We reserve the right to refuse participation in certain activities if we believe it may compromise your safety or the safety of others.
7. Assumption of Risk
By joining our retreats, you acknowledge and accept that outdoor and adventure activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, and unforeseen natural events. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
8. Code of Conduct
We foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a retreat without refund if they:
Behave inappropriately or disrespectfully
Violate local laws or customs
Pose a threat to themselves, others, or the retreat environment
9. User Content
If you submit content to us via the Site (such as testimonials, reviews, or photos), you:
Grant us a royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display the content
Confirm that the content is original and you have the right to share it
We reserve the right to edit or remove content submitted by users at our discretion
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website (text, images, videos, logos, etc.) is the property of Santai Retreats and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without written permission..

Personal injury, illness, or death during or after the retreat

Travel disruptions, delays, or acts of nature
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the retreat.
In addition, Santai Retreats will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
